I’ve been very on the fence with the whole blogroll thing, because it feels fake to me. I see a lot of blogrolls and there are like 400 people on there, and then everyone is all “Look, I left a comment on your blog. Add me to your blogroll please!” And it all feels so “I don’t really like you that much, but I’m totally ok with using you for self-promotion!” But then again, if I get listed on someone’s blogroll and then someone clicks over to my blog from that person’s blogroll I’m all “YAY! New reader!” So, it seems unfair to want to be on someone’s blogroll but not want to have my own. It seems very you scratch my back and then get the hell away from me. Which isn’t very nice. So! I’m starting a blogroll. And my rules for my blogroll are this:
1. I am only putting people on here that I read EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY POST because I think they are freaking awesome.
Some of you are probably like, what the hell is a blogroll? Can you put cream cheese on it? And the answer to that is, maybe.
In essence, I like these blogs.
