I ate all the peanuts. They are gone.
Thank God.
Does anyone else ever do that? Eat ALL of something so that it will no longer be in the house for you to eat.
It can’t only be me.
I feel less “on the brink-y” today than I did yesterday. Probably because the peanuts are gone. I saw a nice mom from school at the library today. I tried to be friends with her earlier in the year, but she wasn’t really interested, I don’t think. Still, she’s very nice and polite to me and our kids get along well.
Her kids were playing and gathering books and stuff and she looked so calm and relaxed and was engaged in conversation with me. Nary a care in the world. I envy this relaxed mom thing she has going on. It is tres cool.
I am not the best relaxer in the universe.
We all have our strengths.
In other news, my mom asked me if I wanted to take the kids to a circus with her. I hemmed and hawed for a while and then admitted that no, I don’t want to, because I don’t really care for circuses and feel bad for the animals. And she responded, Thank God. I hate circuses.
These are the things that absolutely delight me about my mother.
And you, internet? What have you been up to? Do you think the Easter Bunny will bring you any goodies this weekend?
I hope they sing “I am the Bread of Life” at church on Sunday. I just love that one.
