Peanut

I’ve had like 90 bajillion hours of alone time this week.  It has started to become distressing and I find myself irritable/weird. I wish I was one of those uncomplaining types of people.  I’m not though.  I’m so demanding and full of inconvenient feelings and needs and stuff.  So annoying.

Once I briefly considered giving up complaining for Lent.  Then I laughed and quickly discarded the idea, because that’s just ridiculous. Even Jesus complained.  Waa waa why have you forsaken me and all that.

I can’t believe I just wrote that at all, let alone so close to Easter.  Just so you know, Jesus knows I was kidding.  And Jesus has an excellent sense of humor.

I hope Jesus doesn’t send people to hell for telling inappropriate jokes.

If so, at least I will see some of my friends there.

Anyway, did you know that I have eaten more peanuts this week than I’ve probably eaten total in the last five years.  That’s a lot of peanuts because I don’t even like peanuts and I make it a point not to eat them.

I eat peanut butter in copious amounts, of course.  But I do not include peanut butter in my weekly peanut count. The peanuts in this house are disappearing.  And they are giving me a belly ache.  Yet, I eat on.

Peanut.

Peanut.

Peanut.

Peanut.

Peanut.

Did you know that I’ve worn vertical stripes twice this week?  This is clearly a week all about showcasing my glorious abdomen.  My glorious abdomen full of peanuts.

Did you know that my parents and Craig’s parents are all going to read this and be moderately to severely worried about my sanity/penchant for acting bizarrely.  I mean, like deep down in their heart of hearts they will be concerned.  But mostly for Craig and all that he has to put up with.  That poor guy.  Thankfully he is amused by me at least more than half of the time.

Peanut.

Did you know that the song Step in Time can stay in your head for upwards of five days at a time?  It’s true.  I know it to be an honest to God fact.

I like your posts so often, but rarely comment. I liked this one especially, even though it was born out of too much alone time. I love you, and find you amusing way more than half the time… More like 80 percent of the time… 75 or 80… :-)
